Showcasing the unique flavours and intensity of old vine Shiraz, this individual vineyard wine has been handcrafted by Simon Adams to reflect the characters of Eden Valley and the Sorby Adams Home Vineyard's terroir.
The Sorby Adams Home Vineyard sits high in the eastern hills of the Barossa. First planted in 1932, it is home to some of the oldest vines in the Eden Valley reigon. Its gnarled twisted vines produce elegant and refined wines in the classic cool climate style.
Flavours
This delightful blend is characterised by the generous ripe, dark berry fruits of the Shiraz and the lifted aromatic apricot nuances of the Viognier. The texture of the mouth is silky and has an exceptional depth of flavour and well balanced acidity.
This wine is drinking very well now when its fruit characters are fresh and can be cellared for another few years.

"A terrific example of the style. There is an elegance about Eden Valley shiraz and the lifted spice and stone fruit of a small amount of viognier hugs close into this seamless silky expression of the style. Has structure and finesse and offereing excellent drinking over the next five to eight years." 90/100
