Seller Information
To sell wine on our site you must first be registered as a Seller. To apply to become a registered
Seller please click on the Sell tab on the home page and complete some basic information and submit.
You will be contacted by one of the team within 48hrs. Once approved as a Seller, you are able to list
wine for sale on our website.
Our Fees
Empire Auctions Pty Ltd presently charge no individual listing fees.
Instead we will charge a sellers commission of on wine sold through our website. For this commission
(to be discussed with your account manager) we will upload images and descriptions of your wine as and
when required. We will also cover receiving; storage and dispatch; cover all credit card costs,
marketing, invoicing and customer enquiries.
What we require from you once your application is approved?
- Stock to be sent to our warehouse on consignment. Full receipt provided.
- A completed document listing the wines available for sale including where possible tasting notes,
reviews and details on any awards received. A template will be provided.
- Jpeg images of the wine you wish to sell
Our commitment to you
- Regular marketing which includes Paid Per Click (Google advertising) and search optimization
- Customer service and sales support
- A monthly sales summary of successful sales. Please note that we will close off sales at the
end of each month
- Sales summary and payment in the first week of the following month.
Registering and creating a Seller’s account is free, and your information will be kept private on our
third-party secure servers.
Banned & Restricted Items
It is a Seller’s responsibility to ensure that they are legally allowed to sell any items they list,
including checking that it doesn’t breach any copyright, trademark or intellectual property rights.
Listings may only include text descriptions, graphics, photographs and other content relevant to the sale of that
item. All listed items will be listed in an appropriate category.
In summary the process is simple:
- Become familiar with our online platform and business
- Register as a seller on our website by completing the form
- Provide us with your company details
- Account application is reviewed
- Approval granted to operate as a seller
- Start selling
