This Privacy Policy Statement explains the policy with respect to a Member’s Personal Information stored on this website and its permitted use.

The term “Personal Information” means the information supplied as outlined in the Appendix and any other information a Member provides to us or other users in the registration, bidding or listing process, in any public message area including the Bulletin Board) or through any email feature. Personal Information includes the descriptions of items a Member lists for sale or display on the Website as well as any content a Member posts on other web pages within the Website.
1. We collect Personal Information in order to provide its services and to communicate with its Members. All users of this Website hereby agree to its terms and conditions before becoming a Member and agree to act in accordance with this Privacy Policy when using this Website.
(A) Members consent to the following:
i. Collection, use, and in some cases disclosure of Personal Information. This information includes a Members address, gender, age and contact details such as phone number and email address; in some cases your credit card details; bidding and buying activity and your use of this Website generally. This information will be used to contact you in the event that you are a winning Buyer, and will be shared with any Seller listing the item. This may result in you being identified by others. If you do not want to be identified you should not participate.
ii. Use of Personal Information is for internal use for improving the Service; meeting our obligations under State and Federal law; statistical analysis of usage of our Website to improve services; to utilise content and product offerings and deliver promotional material to Members; and administrative purposes connected with the Website including for bidding at online auctions.
iii. Disclosure of Personal information as specified in this Privacy Policy Statement. You may also have rights as a consumer under the Trade Practices Act (1974) and other Laws.

2. We require Personal Information in order to deal with online bids and listing of items for sale as well as to facilitate completion and payment for items sold. You must be a registered Member prior to placing any online bids or instructions to purchase with us. You can view all Auctions, Retail and Classifieds items at any time, but you will need to register before you can bid.
3. We only collect personal information about Members that is necessary to conduct its business and provide an efficient and safe service.
4. WHEN IS PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED?
There are two areas on the Website where you may enter and submit personal information.
A. Online Registration Form
To fully use our services, you will need to register as a Buyer or Seller using our online registration form, where you will be required to provide us with your contact information and other personal information.
B. Personal Information Files
This is where a Member can modify or update Personal information such as the delivery address for purchases, email address and telephone contact number and password details.
Members will be required to provide us with an email address. Financial information such as credit card details may be required by Sellers to verify a Buyers’ name and identity.
We do collect information about bidding, buying and selling behavior.
We require Members to establish a credit account to pay the fees it charges, This requires the supply of a billing address, credit card number and credit card expiration date.
We will collect and store information placed on its Bulletin Board by Members.
5. Use of Your Information
Personal Information may be used to resolve disputes, fix problems, help ensure safe trading on the Website, and enforce the User Agreement.
Personal Information may be used to improve marketing and promotional efforts, to analyse site usage, to improve content and services.
Personal information may be used to contact Members and deliver information such as targeted banners, administrative notices, product offerings, and communications relevant to use of the Website. Members expressly agree to receive this information.
6. Other Disclosures of Personal Information
We may be required to disclose a Member’s Personal Information to government or third parties by law. We are authorised by Members to disclose any Personal information to law enforcement or other governmental officials as it, in its sole discretion, believe necessary, appropriate or as otherwise permitted under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, piracy or other activity that is illegal or may expose the business to legal liability.
We are expressly authorised by each Seller who registers as a member to provide the name and address of any Seller who uploads material that is alleged to breach copyright - to the party who claims that copyright or his or her lawful agent.
Third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.
We will not give Personal Information to any third party for gain other than as disclosed in this Privacy Statement.
Personal Information about Members may be given to other Service Providers to enable them to perform their duties as allowed by applicable law. To the extent that these entities have access to your information, they will treat it at least as protectively as they treat information they obtain from their other users.
It is possible that we, could merge with or be acquired by another business entity. If this occurs, we will share some or all Personal Information in order to continue to provide its services. Members will receive notice of such event. The new business entity will be required to abide by this Privacy Policy unless you consent to a change.
7. Members may access other Members Personal Information
A Seller has access to the email address and other contact information of a Buyer and a Buyer has access to the email address and other contact information of the Seller.
Personal information may also be used or disclosed to other Members to enable transactions to be completed. This includes for purposes of invoicing, delivery of items purchased and also to facilitate enforcement of rights. Members must consent to this disclosure to trade with us.
Personal Information of other Members obtained through the Website or otherwise by the services offered must not be used for unsolicited commercial messages or any other purpose that is not expressly approved by the Member(s) concerned.
We do not authorise downloading of information from its Website nor the further transmittal or other use of that information outside the terms of this Privacy Policy, User Agreement and Help Guide accessible from the Website homepage. Material placed on the Website by Members may be subject to copyright for which the business may have no license or authority express or implied to use. Specific permission must be obtained before any download or further use of such material is made.
8. Control of Passwords
Members should not disclose their password to any third parties. If Members chooses to share an email address and password or other Personal Information with third parties to obtain other services, they must inform themselves of the third party’s Privacy Policies. A failure to protect passwords may result in some third party binding the Member to a legally enforceable transaction. Therefore, if a password has been compromised for any reason, the password should be altered immediately.
9. Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Your Personal Information
Members can review and change Personal Information at any time.
Members are responsible to update Personal Information if it changes. Information on the Bulletin Board cannot be changed after it is placed there.
A Member may request, cancellation of membership and removal of Personal Information that identifies the Member from publicly available databases This information will be removed as soon as reasonably possible.
All Personal Information is never completely removed from databases due to technical constraints and for security reasons. This Personal Information will only be available to select personnel.
10. Other authorised Information Collectors
Members are encouraged you to ask questions before disclosing their Personal Information to other parties outside of the control of us.
11. Security
Your Information is stored on our secure servers located in Australia, using best practice internet security standards. We use industry standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, such as firewalls and encrypted files. However, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet.
12. Notice
This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. All changes to this policy are effective after at least fourteen (14) days notice of the changes have been posted on the Bulletin Board. Members therefore have the opportunity to notify us if they do not agree to such changes as described herein.
